Equity Pact rates apply to any Film and Television shoots filming OUTSIDE of a 40-mile radius of Charing Cross (ie. Anywhere in the UK not covered by FAA) and will be the main rates used in Wales, Scotland, the North and the rest of England excluding London and it’s surrounding areas.
PACT/EQUITY RATES
STANDARD DAY
A 10-hour working day including an hour lunch break. Overtime is payable after 10 hours. Day calls are calls that do not normally commence before 07:00 and wrap before 00:00.
STANDARD NIGHT
A 10-hour working night including an hour break. Overtime payable after 10 hours. An additional 50% of the day rate is payable to the SA for a night shoot. Night calls are calls that are called before 04:00 or wrap after 00:00
SHIFT CALL
A 4-hour call without a break. There is a 15-minute grace period during which the SA is entitled to receive a half-hour overtime payment. In the event that the shoot runs over this, the shoot then moves into a second shift call.

Minimum Turnaround
Where the minimum turnaround between consecutive calls (“Daily Rest”) period is less than 11 consecutive hours the Supporting Artist shall be paid the overtime rate for each half hour or part thereof by which such Daily Rest period is curtailed, subject to a minimum payment equivalent to one hourly overtime payment.
