SENIOR CASTING AGENT | FULL TIME - PERMANENT | REMOTE (UK)

Play a leading role in launching an exciting new chapter in casting for Commercials, TV & Film.

Somebody Ltd, a well-established talent agency representing professional actors, is expanding with an exciting new venture — our Supporting Artists division. We’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced Senior Casting Agent to grow this emerging arm of the business. This remote-based role offers the chance to shape and grow the background casting department from the ground up, while working alongside an experienced and passionate team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a confident and experienced casting professional who can:

  • Drive new business and promote our growing Supporting Artists division within the industry – you will be someone who loves meeting people, picking up the phone and securing new relationships.

  • Build and grow client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for ADs, Production Managers, and Casting Directors.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of background casting for Film, TV, and Commercials—from client brief to project wrap-up.

  • Curate daily artist selections and communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and artists.

  • Negotiate rates and manage logistics to ensure smooth execution across all casting projects.

  • Lead a remote team—motivating, mentoring, and managing Casting Agents and Assistants to hit targets and deliver consistently high standards.

  • Recruit and develop talent, identifying training needs and helping the team grow with the business.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Background in casting, film/tv/commercial production, or similar creative industries, with experience leading end-to-end projects

  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills

  • Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to multitask at speed

  • Comfortable with utilising software and online tools (full training will be provided)

  • Leadership skills with a collaborative, can-do mindset

  • Passion for launching and shaping new ventures within the entertainment industry

DETAILS

  • Location: Remote (UK-based), with occasional travel across the UK for meetings, events and team catch-ups (expenses fully covered)

  • Salary: £30,000 per annum

  • Benefits Include: 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, additional discretionary time off between Christmas and New Year, Up to 2 wellbeing days per year, a day off for a charity fundraising event, optional healthcare plan and more

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

  • Reporting to: Head of Production

  • Direct Reports: Casting Agents & Casting Assistants
