FAA/PACT Supporting Artist Agreement.
Applicable to film & tv productions shooting within a 40-mile radius of LONDON.
The below rates are valid from 1st January - 31st December 2025.
The formal FAA/PACT agreement overrides any differences in the below rates.
FAA/PACT RATES
STANDARD DAY
9 hours based upon a 9 hour stipulated period inc meal break (which is unpaid), between 7am and 10pm (before 7am additional payments apply). After 10pm night-time overtime will apply, unless called as a night shoot.)
CONTINUOUS DAY
A 7-hour workday/night. The SAs do not have a lunch break; instead, production provides them with a rolling buffet between takes. Since there is no lunch break, overtime is payable after 7 hours.
SHIFT CALL
A 4-hour call without a break. There is a 15-minute grace period during which the SA is entitled to receive a half-hour overtime payment. In the event that the shoot runs over this, the shoot then moves into a second shift call.

***Where meals are not provided by production under Clause 10.6, meal allowances are payable in accordance with HMRC guidelines. These rates shall be subject to any amendments to HMRC guidelines.
Cancellation Payments (times below are based on the day before the shoot, including weekends & Public Holidays)
Cancellation before midday: no payment due
Cancellation between midday and 3pm: 50% of BDR is payable to artist
Cancellation after 3pm: 100% of BDR is payable to artist
Minimum Turnaround
The minimum turnaround between consecutive calls (“Daily Rest”) shall normally be 11 consecutive hours.
Where the Artiste is given Reduced Daily Rest, the Producer may offer the Artiste an increased Daily Rest period in lieu of an overtime payment. Where it is not practicable to offer the Artiste an increased Daily Rest Period, the Producer shall pay the Artiste an overtime rate for each half hour or part thereof, subject to a minimum of one hourly overtime payment.
