At Somebody, our mission is simple: to make being a supporting artist something people love doing - not just a way to earn extra money (even though that is a bonus!). We want you to feel valued, respected, and seen.
So how do we actually work? Here’s a peek behind the scenes at how we approach casting, what happens when a production gets in touch, and how you fit into the process.

THE PRODUCTIONS WE WORK ON
We work on all kinds of productions, from TV dramas and commercials to big-screen films. Whether it’s an intimate indie shoot or a large-scale commercial campaign, we aim to provide directors and producers with the right faces and personalities for their vision.
Every project is different, but some requirements are always the same: dependable, talented supporting artists who help make scenes feel real.
THE BRIEFS WE CAST
This is where you come in!
When a production reaches out with their brief, they tell us:
- The type of people they’re looking for
- Age range, look, vibe
- Any special skills or requirements
- Filming dates and locations
We don’t just “blast” this out. Instead, we carefully search our books for the right fit. Then, we contact our artists to check availability.
If you’re suitable and available, we will put you forward and then let you know whether or not you’re booked as soon as we do.
Then it’s time to get you on set! Production send us your details (usually the day before the shoot) - we’ll send these out to you, and you’re ready to go!
